An Easter message for families - from the Principal of Norwich Primary Academy

April 3rd 2020

Dear Norwich Primary Academy families,

At the end of this term, I wanted to write to you all with an Easter message.

We have faced a very strange and difficult period of time over the past few weeks. I wanted to thank you all for your support during this time. I also wanted to thank the members of the community who have helped us to keep supporting our families. Enterprise taxis have been fantastic, they have delivered lunches to all of our families who have free school meals every day, and will continue to do this after the Easter break. Edwards and Blake, our kitchen team, who have made hundreds of packed lunches every day, not just for our NPA families, but also for the Earlham Early Years Centre families. And all of our suppliers, who have kept providing us with ample food during this difficult time.

I also want to thank all of our amazing members of staff, who have been in teaching and supporting our vulnerable children. The staff members who have been calling our families daily to check in. The staff members who have been working hard to pull together home learning packs so our children continue to learn at home.

I want to reassure you all that we are here to help at any time. We don’t know how long this will last, but I do know that for as long it does, our school stands ready to support your family and our community.  If you are in crisis and struggling, we are at the end of the phone and will help in any way we can, even if it is just for a chat.

Wishing you all a very happy and safe Easter.

Best wishes

Rebecca Handley-Kirk
